  1. How do I make a booking online?
    Already on display are the routes available for the next travel date. You can select from one of them and click “Buy Ticket”
    OR
    • Select your desired travel date & transporter from the drop down menu at the top of the page and click on list schedules.
    • Select which route is most convenient for you and click on “buy ticket”
    • Fill in the required sections and submit
    • You can go on and pay using the payment method most suitable to you

  2. How do I make a booking by SMS?
    Send an SMS in this format “TRAVEL TRANSPORTER ORIGIN DESTINATION DD-MM-YY YOURNAME” TO 32811.
    E.g. Tolu Ade travelling from Lagos to Enugu by ABC transport on the 1st of May, 2009 will send the text like this: Travel ABC Lagos Enugu 01-05-09 Tolu Ade.

    When the text is sent to our short code: 32811, an automatic response will be received showing the PNR. Also in the text will be the time of departure and fare to be paid at the bank.
     
  3. How can I pay for my ticket?
    There are three ways to make payments:
    1. Bank: After making your booking via SMS, pay at any branch of our partner banks using your PNR as reference. You will find customized deposit slips for your convenience.
    2. Online: you can payment for your ticket using your ATM card. The online payment module provides a secure channel to make payments directly through InterSwitch, as we do not collect any card details from you.
      There is an added 1.5% charge which will be automatically computed and clearly displayed to you. When you click the 'Pay Now' button, it will load the GTPay-Interswitch payment module.
    3. Mobile: Using mobile payment solutions from your bank like: FlashMeCash, UMobile, ZMobile etc.
       
  4. Can I buy a ticket for someone in another city?
    Certainly, the PNR number should be sent to the intended passenger once the payment is made at the bank or online
     
  5. Which transport companies are available on TicketBay?
    Currently, we have Ekenedilichukwu, Efex Executive, Ground Air Travel, and ABC Transport
     
  6. Can I book for more than 1 person at a time?
    No, multiple purchases can be made but with a different SMS per entry/person
     
  7. Can I book by SMS and pay at the park?
    No, payments can only be made using our listed payment options (see above)
     
  8. Which banks can I pay at?
    Currently our cash receiving partners are Guaranty Trust Bank, UBA, FINBANK and ZENITH bank.
     
  9. Can I pay using my ATM card?
    Yes, ATM/Debit cards can be used for payments on this website
     
  10. Can I transfer my TicketBay ticket to another person?
    No, the TicketBay ticket cannot be transferred at this time, but will be possible in the near future.
     
  11. Can I transfer between transporters on TicketBay?
    Yes, but only if it is before 4 pm the day before your trip. Please call the helpline to request this. Terms and conditions will apply
     
  12. What happens if I cannot / do not want to travel anymore?
    If you have paid for the ticket already, please contact our customer care center for assistance. All cancellations should be done by 4 pm the day before your trip
     
  13. Can I book my ticket in advance?
    Certainly, you can book a maximum of 7 days in advance
     
  14. Can I book for a particular seat number?
    Yes, if it is before 4 pm a day before your trip you can call our helpline and the seat will be reserved for you
     
  15. What is my PNR?
    This is a unique 9 digit number assigned for each booking you make which you should use to pay at the bank
     
  16. Is it safe to use my debit card or cashcard online?
    We take your transaction security seriously and assure you 100% secure transactions. We (or our employees) do not have access to your card details. Once you are ready to make payment, you are redirected to GTBank's website for payment. After the payment transaction is completed, GTBanks will revert you back to our website, therefore we are nowhere in the picture at the time you enter your card details.
